Community nonprofit organizations, such as ours, rely heavily on the volunteers to function. Our events and programs would not be possible without our wonderful volunteers. And one of the best ways to support your community is to give your time and expertise. By doing so, you also get to connect to your roots, high-schoolers get to earn their volunteers hours, and you get access to exclusive volunteer-only programs and events.

Event Organizer

Do you enjoy planning and running events and parties? Do you enjoy meeting new people? Do you enjoy putting smiles on people’s faces? If so, we have the perfect position for you! Azerbaijan Cultural Society is in need of an event lead! You will work with the current leadership team to plan and execute many of our upcoming events, such as concert galas, Friendsgiving, Solidarity Day, Novruz, and many more cultural events! Your sample responsibilities may be:

• Developing end-to-end program for the event based on the objectives

• Budget creation and tracking

• Venue selection and validation

• Developing and/or decorating the theme

• Working with leadership on communication strategies and financing
